Welcome to my fabulous blog, the blog and online newsroom for MTR Event Design. We are focused on bringing energy and fun to your live virtual events and your in-person gatherings.
We have experienced surreal and changing times. I am a networker at heart. What do I do? How do I change up my business to continue doing what I love, helping customers to relax and to enjoy their conference, seminar, or party without any worry?
Well, I refused to sit around and complain. In March 2020, I took my business to new heights. I’m so excited to spread the energy and passion it took to get there.
My name is Marie Rios, and I am the founder and owner of MTR Event Design in Marin County, California. From a young age, I had a vision of owning my own business. I wanted to be a dental hygienist and ended up in accounting, but then I was introduced to marketing and planning events, and a new door opened. The connection I felt – while event planning and organizing conferences, seminars and weddings – well, it made life fun! You can read more here.
So buckle up, because this ride is full of surprises, and I can’t wait to share all these fantastic event tales with you. Stick around, stay fabulous, and get ready to sprinkle your events with a touch of magic!
How can we help each other?
I would love to hear from you. Please reach out to me with any comments and suggestions, you can even disagree. I ask that you keep your comments relevant to the conversations taking place here so that we can maintain respect for everyone’s ideas and suggestions and add value and depth to the discussion.
I encourage you to visit the MTR Event Design website and learn about us, what we offer and who we are. Please consider subscribing and engaging in discussion around the notion of planning ‘virtual events’ and the world’s emerging online presence during these changing times. I believe the event planning tips and ideas in this blog will become more important than ever as we continue to engage with businesses and customers around the world.
Thank you for reading and visiting, and let’s start elevating your events so that your attendee experience matches the power and impact of your work.
